Temple Illuminatus

There was a flower once that grew aside a tree

A small daisy that leaned on the strength of the old oak

One day the oak saw the daisy had her head down

It looked silent and sad, lost in thoughts

What is wrong? Asked the old oak, what worries you child?

The daisy sighed again and looked back down.

Is the shade I offer not enough? Don’t you grow well?

The daisy nodded, “yes I do old oak”

“What is the matter?”

“I am always alone; oak I wish there was another daisy I could talk to”

The oak thought and thought, how he could help the daisy

A tree is slow, many days passed and one day he knew.

It was an October morning, the wind was howling through his branches

He shook the branches hard, so the oaks fell down aside his trunk,

The noise attracted squirrels and mice who were gathering nuts for the winter.

As the tree saw that the rodents come closer he whispered to them.

“hey small friends, do you know where other daisies grow?”

“Yes old oak I know, very far over the old river”

“pull the daisy, my little friend with root and all, take her to the other daisy”

The mouse did, she pulled as hard as she could and tore the daisy out of her grounds.

“Thank you oak, you will never be forgotten” the daisy said as the mouse took her away

For many moons they ran across fields and forests, many suns passed.

The daisy was starting to dry out, not much strength she had left

One day and she would die, it was worth it though

She didn’t know if the mouse could take her on time

Better die trying than to spend her life knowing she could and never did.

The last bit of the nutrition’s in her leaves had dried and she was feeling very sick,

She hadn’t eaten for days and she needed water really bad

The teeth of the mouse were digging deep in her and it was hurting.

Everything comes in its own time, exactly when the daisy was ready to close her eyes forever

The mouse stopped and dropped her in a small pool of water in a big field

All around her there were corn plans and a loud noise coming very close

The mouse got scared and ran away leaving the daisy there in the water,

At least now she could survive.

She tried to look up to see where she is and she saw two human shoes next to her.

A child was leaning looking at her, smiling friendly at her.

The child picked her up and ran home quickly where she gave her to her mother.

The mother took the daisy in the backyard and planted her in a field of flowers

The daisy was feeling better she was getting food again and water too

She looked to her side and there was another, a beautiful flower bigger than her.

The daisy was so excited to be with others of her kind she didn’t know what to say.

Finally, she found another like her, someone just like her after so many years.

“Hello, I am daisy” she whispered with a shy voice

The other daisy turned around and smiled, his smile wiped all fear away

She was finally home, she loved in from that first moment and that first smile.

“welcome home” he whispered back.
