This question is for Linda M. and Rosey.

I am a current Thespian student (which includes Voice acting/vo work study), I need expert advice outside of current circle of hungry associates and fellow students. What supplemental readings and additional classes would you suggest out of love for a fellow member of this group, that can enhance his/her training efforts up to this point in time. Been training on/off for a period 5-7 years under a few really good teachers. I need some unbiased suggestions. My Acting icons are from a mix of both comedic and serious acting ,i.e.,  both T.V and stage. Funny to me ranges from the 'original odd couple' (stage version as well) series to action pack stuff like, the original james bond( Sean Connery) series and everything in between. My favorite non actors would be Carrol O' Connor to Sammy Davis,jr to Redd Foxx. My favorite serious actors would range from Denzel Washington to James Coburn to Samuel L. Jackson. Sam Jackson has also done his share of advertisements. Thanks in advance! Please don't hold back on the good stuff, great advice/suggestions are truly welcomed!

So my question is what would you suggest in regards to my outside studies, in bring my classes, VO training, etc., to a place where I will be more confident in my skill and training efforts (ongoing), what would be good support reading and head stuff to add to my repertoire? Advance to all that take a hack at my cry for suggestions! Up and coming in DC via New York, and I don't mind being the tree on the stage, so long as it is one of the best trees in the business! Most profoundest of peace! tkb

Hello my very own group of theatre buffs and experts of all levels and shades!

I have a question or 2 as a person very interested in the thespian culture ( and not as n outsider looking in ) ( Still a bit of beginner though, I get stage gitters every now and again). So please share a pdf tome or suggestion or 2 along the lines ( suggested books are fine as well, nothing too heavy if you will ) of script reading and committment to memory. And something going into the art of character development and comprehension, maybe a primer. Something that will give my previous training a kick in the pants so speak! I have exposure to both improve and some comedy, and VO, I am looking to extend my level of acting ability etc...
