Change of Season

It's the changing of the season.

You should of told me.

I've worn out all my welcomes.

So I don't love you anymore.

I won't be knocking on your door.

Yes, you say you won't forget me.

I see it's the rainbow moon out tonight.

Though the summer days drifted off site.

You might forget me towards morning light.

For I shall have already forgotten you.

I've watched you many times come and go.

Through the shadows of the crystal moon.

I trace the memory of your face in my dreams.

I stare at the picture of you on the nightstand.

Feel the coldness of you come over me.

As the mystical lovers moon shines outside my window.

 FLICKERING SHADOWS

 

Sunshine streamed in through 

the windows on a slant.

As she flipped long curly 

red-locks off her shoulder.

She took the other road

most often. 

The road less traveled. 

Why ?

Because that's how she liked it.

Only because She liked the curves

in the road.

There was a time or two, she wondered 

which road to take.

But she always had hope in her eyes.

At times it did not matter whether or not

someone was by her side.

 

Though she did prefer to be connected.

Alas,  it couldn't be with just any soul.

 She's always been a free spirit.

Such as the gypsies of old.

Coming in with the autumn leaves.

Just as she left on a summers day.

In the quiet of her flickering shadows

Blurry thoughts render vague rambling words

You know the feelings you want to convey

As you feel the seasons and the powers

Which they provide to who live in her embrace

As you travel the spiraling wheel ~ through 

To cosmic consciousness ~ you become 

The dancer on top of the world for 

All to see!!!!

Witches live with love for nature.
We gain strength and energy naturally.
Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit.
The moon, the stars and the shining sun.
We love the simple things in life.
Things that are made from the earth.
The Goddess blesses us with great gifts.
The trees, The flowers, The Animals and life.
She guides us through each and every day.
We try to live with peace and harmony.
We take nothing at all for granted and appreciate
The simple things in life. We are one with nature.
We share with one another with love in our hearts
