Temple Illuminatus

Hi there,

I often encounter a tingling sensation inside my skull, which occurs whenever I focus my attention on a certain topic (topics vary) or when I encounter a certain specific (mostly new) piece of information that somehow seems to be relevant to me. The sensation usually does not last long and goes away when I stop thinking about it or change my focus. Can anyone give an explanation?
