Glad to be part of the vibrant Temple Illuminatus community and now, in lieu of anything better to do I begin to build a new and better magickal system. Sigils once again are my focus though my artistic ability is meh at best. Consider this blog to be a notepad/workbench for the new system. Until I get bored next week and decide to do something else. Damn that ADHD! :-)

So I decided to clear out some room in the small man-cave computer room and on the small tv stand placed a white 12 inch square granite tile with a nice smooth glossy finish as the base for my mini altar magickal workspace. Granite tile: $3 at Home Depot. I also bought 9 small 1 1/2 inch glass tiles with a slight green tint for use as moveable markers. $10 at Home Depot. Now I gotta figure out how to draw some symbols on glass. Any ideas? I'd like the sigilized markers to represent some of my favorite spirits and possibly seasons, sabbats. Rotation and/or position of the markers can be updated regularly as seasons/moon phases/other conditions change. A marker could represent nearly anything imaginable. This altar will also be the focus of sigil casting.

<Sigil Casting>

Quick note on achieving ritual gnosis for this particular setup.

- Primary gnosis state via booze. (An entheogen might be better but I'd rather kill brain cells the good old fashioned way)

- Gnosis assist via blasting electronic music

- Gnosis assist via some trippy psychedelic app or video on the iPad (like Electric Mandala). Maybe one of you know how to edit a video so I could place an alpha .gif of my sigil right in the middle of the psychedelic iPad screen? Hmmm.

All that's left during the ritual is calling up spirits and staring at the sigil until I'm good and satisfied.

</Sigil Casting>

Sigils that have been cast can be charged further by low attention processing (http://runesoup.com/2010/09/destroying-your-sigils-a-huge-mistake/).... i.e. use already-cast-sigils as decorations on the altar magickal workspace.

Ok, off to pay bills.

Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted. :-)
