First and foremost I will start off by saying "Yes" I am a Trump supporter, I do not care what you think, I am not a racist nor am I a bigot. The following writing that you are about to read is a work of fiction in the form of a letter that I would write to President Donald J. Trump assessing his travel ban and how I would handle it if I were in his shoes. Let it also be known that I fully support the travel ban, not because I think America would be better off without a certain group of people or peoples but because I believe in the security and protection of American citizens. Now I know that this writing will probably be highly controversial and I do tend to lean more to be a conservative than anything else, but I do realize that no matter if you are right wing or left wing you are wings on the same bird and this is what I feel American citizens need to realize. Now before I begin I just want to say that I am not interested in your comments on this article, therefore, I will be turning off the comments section, this is for the best interest of all people here. My only wish is to get people who tend to lean more to the left to see that though I may be conservative in values that I can peacefully get along with others of a different opinion.
Dr. Mr. President,
My name is Jesse L. Alexander, first I want to take the time and thank you for your service to the American people as I feel that you have their best interest at heart, I feel that your Travel Ban policy could use some refinement. Here I present Mr. President a new policy that I feel would help in dismembering the so-called "Racist" argument that people tend to hold against you.
1. If you are going to instate a travel ban it must be to every country on Earth. This will help dispell the notion that you are bigoted to a certain target group of people.
2. Along with the travel ban, you must expedite the screening process of individuals while making sure you have enough staff and a proper system to properly carry out background checks thoroughly yet quickly. This means gathering intelligence on (Everyone) coming into the United States. I know this may be not so easy to figure out but I'm sure you and your cabinet can figure something out.
3. Now that we are talking about keeping America safe from outside terrorism, let's look inside America. If we are going to point fingers at (Radical Islam), Mr. President should we not be pointing fingers at terrorist groups that exist within our own Nation? Such groups as the Ku Klux Klan, Neo Nazi's, White Nationalists, East Coast Knights of the True Invisible Empire, Soldiers of the Cross Training Institute? These are just to name a few Mr. President. And though these groups may not be actively out blowing themselves up in crowds, they do terrorize the neighborhoods that they live in with the hate for people of color and believe that they are superior to anyone else. Are these hate groups nothing more than Domestic Terrorists? I ask. It would seem to me that it would be not only to your benefit Mr. President but a benefit to the U.S. and the world that these groups be taken out systematically until there are no more groups like this within our great nation. Now when I say taken out I don't mean killed however if it comes down to using force then, by all means, do what must be done for the greater good of the American citizens and the world. If you want to be remembered as the "Greatest President" who ever took office I would suggest listening and heeding my words, Mr. President. It is my sincerest wish that the world could all learn to forget our differences and go into the future not having to worry about hate or bigotry and I know this is probably just hopeful wishing but, in the words of Dr. King. "I have a dream."
