We are at the midpoint between the 2 eclipses this month. The Full Moon and partial lunar eclipse on August 7 opened a portal to the collective instinctive center as well as for each one of us personally. The pot has been stirred and the sediment that has been hidden at the bottom is now floating at the top. Issues from the past are surfacing for a final completion and release. People from the past may come back into our lives either literally or into our dreams giving us the opportunity to forgive, move on, or reconnect.
This is a tricky time especially with Mercury now retrograde forcing us to really pay attention to what we think, say or do. It is easy to get caught in the energy that wants to pull us down. You can dwell on the constricted part of what is not working or not moving. You can feel victimized by what is challenging. But the opposite is true as well. If you focus on what is truly inspiring you can reach the higher centers and expand your awareness. This is crucial at this time if you want to take advantage of what this next eclipse time has to offer in terms of resetting your life. All you have to do is slow down, simplify and take time to be inspired by beauty. Remind yourself of what inspired you to get where you are in life today. Then take that to the next level. Revisit the fun of childhood. Look at the stars at night. Dream a little. Be creative. This is what you can do to prepare for the New Moon and Solar Eclipse on Monday August 21 at 12:30 PM MT. (That is the exact time however we will be in the field for several hours before and after.)
Make sure you clear some time to prepare and to honor this eclipse. You do not have to be in its totality to work with the energy. But you should be intentional about how you want to use this time. What do you really want to change? How do you really want your life to be? What can you improve? Ask for it.
