Information is intelligence. Intelligence has been regulated since the atomic age by a process referred to as compartmentalization. In this construct, only a privileged few know the entire scope of the operation around them, and the rest of the people only know what they need in order to survive or perform a specific duty. The compilation of all the compartments makes the whole. Even the circuit boards on our computers were built to follow this Gestalt model. But this form of intelligence distribution is a relic of the industrial age. We live in the information age. We need a new model.
