Why I want to join the Temple
To find kindred spirits and engaging discussions. To learn and to share.
About Myself and My interests
I have been reading about the occult and spirituality since 1970, when I was 12 years old. My real studies began five years later upon my Initiation. I have pursued many paths, which converge into one. In my mundane life, I earned my BA in Religious Studies as an older student. I am now attending a long established liberal Christian seminary and am working on a Master's in Divinity, with a self-directed focus on Trans-Religious Spiritual Formation and Social Justice.

I am also the parent of three wonderful children, one of whom is still at home.

Oh, and I am engaged to my best friend...it only took us 20 years to figure it out!
My Teachers and Influences
Jesus Christ, the Beguine Mystics, the Buddah, Rev. Dr. Monica Coleman, Thich Nich Hanh, Z Budapest, Starhawk, the Farrars, Rosemary Radford Ruether, Sybil Leek and many others who have been inspired by the Spirit from all spiritual walks.
My Goals
To learn, to grow and to become a better person - and hopefully, along the way, to help others do the same.

The following poem was written as a Photo Challenge in one of my old MySpace poetry groups.  I could not find the picture online, so what I've done here is take a picture of the black & white printout that I had in my files.  I'm sorry the quality isn't very good...but hopefully, you can see the subject matter.  I know that the poem works well without the picture, but I thought perhaps readers might enjoy seeing what I had to work with!  So...
