Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...
I used to be a member so many years ago now but can't seem to sign in anymore. So I am resigning up again at this time. I'm still very into the occult and witchcraft etc. However now that I've rejoined I've got no idea how to set up a page or anything on here much? I'm still learning how to use blogspot and Wordpress ATM. Lol Thanks to everyone whom has welcomed me so far however it may take me some time to figure out how this site works now!
About Myself & My Interests..
I'm a a female middle aged Witch, Occultist have studied all Abrahamic Religions after being brought up as a Christian at a Catholic Private School. Then got interested in Judaism and even studied Islam, learnt some Arabic and even read most of the Koran. I then studied and nearly converted to Tibetan Buddhism.
Then we'll after all of that I began reading, studying and practising so many different occult pathways starting with the RHP of Wicca and Qabbalah. Then I've progressed to the LHP of the Qliphoth and theistic Luciferianism amongst so many other things that fascinate me upon this path. I love music, art, writing and using the creativity that is truly within us all. I adore and miss the late great David Bowie as his music has been the soundtrack of my entire life. I love live theatre and live concerts especially as an exactress myself. I love to travel and experience different cultures and belief systems far different than our own. I can't really define myself however the closest I can get to is I'm "CazWytch" *Bohemian Gothic Wytch, Occultist & Psychologist*.
My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?
My maternal grandmother and grandfather. David Bowie his music, talent and his chameleon like ways. Vampire/vampires and the legends and movies influenced my love of so many nocturnal activities. Then in my mid 30s I studied & nearly converted to Tibetan Buddhism. Thanks to the tutelage of the sadly now deceased Lama Khensher Rinpoche & the teachings
of the Dalai Lama himself. I then really got into studying and learning about crystals, herbs and spells as well as a total Kundalini awakening which was mind blowing! Sex magick to working with Sigils and far too much to explain on here.
I was really into the psychological works of Carl Jung and still am. I'm a counselor to life's difficulties by profession. Everyone I knew back in the mid 90s was doing weekend retreats on Reiki. So a friend of mine taught me for free & I thought is that all there is to it. Energy - that is the true secret! Energy transference from one being to another. The same as real magick is about transference of your will/intent which manifests your spellcraft for you. There is much to learn before anyone can truly decipher the very hidden secrets of magick.
Anyway after that I began doing crystal healing/chakra workshops, Power Animal shamanistic workings, Finding my guardian angel, Colour reading workshops, Transactional Analysis, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy),Theosophy workshops & lectures, Witchcraft & Wiccan weekend workshops, then Runes and then Learning to read tarot, oracle, goddess and angel cards. It was after all of that exploration that I decided to study the Occult full time entirely in my own way which satisfied not only my intense interest into so many different world/cultural magickal belief systems.
So I became a Witch/Wiccan far more than 10 years ago now. I've lost count of how many years I've been studying the occult for now? Lol I've also studied the Qabbalah (Mystical Judaism) and worked through all the spheres and I'm into the Qliphoth ATM. I've experienced true Gnosis using an entheogen at times responsibly of course. I wouldn't call myself a Wiccan anymore because I'm far more of a gothic bohemian traditional Witch Wise/woman whom is a SeaWitch as we live overlooking the sea. I love to read tarot, oracle & the runes too. I happen to be clairaudient & clairsentient as well. I'm also into automatic writing and artwork when communicating with spirits/the disincarnate, daemons/demons, angels and sometimes even various deity's have used my body to get their message out to those whom really need to know. I must admit that I'm also a Necomancer and have worked with quite a few deceased souls from our local cemetery "Necropolis" City of the Dead. Far more since my near death experience a few years back. Since then I've had gifts such as mediumship that I never had before my N.D.E. I also venerate my ancestors all year round not just Samhain "Halloween" (All Souls Day) like so many pagans & witches do. I find it quite tragic that in most western witchcraft and ceremonial Magickal traditions that most western magickal practitioners tend to ignore their ancestors apart from one night of the year which is totally wrong IMHO. Because if not for their sacrifices and decisions we wouldn't even be here at all in thus particular mortal life experience.
I've learnt quite a bit from the syncretism of Santeria amongst others where their ancestors part of everyday life. They are such an important and are always remembered as part of their every day worship and reflections. I try and meditate and commune with them by lighting some candles & incense every single day and some days things they loved in life such as whiskey or chocolates etc. Some days of course are full rituals such as for the main Sabbats like Samhain or Beltane. Or when celebrating either on the dark or the full moon in my very nocturnal practice of Witchcraft. The Dark or New Moon is a great time for are for introspection and certain types of Magickal workings of course.
Authors and/or Books I appreciate
Scott Cunningham on Wicca, herbs, crystals & lots more.
Raymond Buckland on Wicca, Spiritualism, Solitary magic, Gypsy magic & lots more. Silver Ravenwolf as most know so many classic books. The black Witchcraft today. The works of Aleister Crowley, Dion Fortune, Israel Regardie, Michael W. Ford "Luciferianism", Sorceress Cagliastro in then H9, Asenath Mason "Qliphoth" etc. and even E. A. Koetting a some of his books are really good if one can get past the whole BALG selling ads to sell his books of course. As well as the many great free webpages & blogs where people share their own information for free, as well as the numerous PDF files as well. We live in an age where we can all learn and share with one another about all things occult without fear. Isn't it wonderful that we no longer have to hide that we are Witches, Occultists or magicians etc. Just brilliant!!!
Musicians and/or Music I appreciate
David Bowie is my forever favourite R.I.P. The greatest singer, songwriter, showman, actor and total chameleon in modern times. Black Sabbath & Led Zepplin - yep I love some old school heavy metal.
