Trouble harnessing Kundalini? HELP

A week or so ago I was discussing some things with my therapist. It was then, talking to her, I began to feel that familiar rise up my spine, to the top of my neck, out the top of my head. Weird waking dream thing..

I went to bed wicked early one night, around 5pm. I was having very vivid dreams none of which i could remember..but i clearly remember waking up because i heard the bedroom door open. I heard the rustling of clothes, i thought my husband was out of work early. I looked around the room and no one was there, except for my son who was sleeping.
