- Why I want to join the Temple
- I have never been religious, I find it hypocritical. If it works for some people then by all means but most just read it and think that's it. All creations have repercussions and so does every action. Without the restrictions of religion, I was free to explore my spirituality, and when I discovered theosophy, it was like an affirmation of what I thought to be the most rational spiritual beliefs. Eventually I wound up here.
- About Myself and My interests
- I am a mere human being, I grew from a child and experienced my path along the way. Somewhere I started to try and discern why certain things happen and why certain things don't happen. Skateboarding's a huge part in my life, at least it was. I started my dream job at 16, teaching skateboarding to kids. The owner of the establishment didn't understand that skateboarding was more than just a physical activity, he treated it like a hobby or just another thing to do. I put up with that for 3 years and quit at 19. Since then I've been trying to discover what I was meant to do, it obviously wasn't teaching skateboarding.
- My Teachers and Influences
- I try to learn and take positive influence from every situation, and reject the negative. I understand that I can't become completely blind to the negative so I discern which I think is right or wrong. Everyone has their own point of view, a perspective, and that is what defines how you see life and everything that it involves. Life is my influence and my teacher.
- My Goals
- When I was young I just wanted to be able to make a living and still be able to skateboard. I found that at a young age, and when I realized it wasn't what I had hoped for, I searched for an alternative. I started a skateboard company through a special school program and made everything I needed to get it started. Eventually I'd like to do that, but I realize it can't be my main income, because that stress of going above and beyond everyday because I love what I do, takes it's toll. My company is my future passion, as of a career path, I was thinking a graphic designer. I have the talent but I'm not ready to throw all my cards on the table. My MAIN goal as of this time period, is getting a steady job and being able to provide for myself. Then I can't start moving up the ladder.
- Authors and/or Books I appreciate
- I'm not much of a reader, I'd like to be though. It's the attention span that gets me. Right now though I am reading GAME OF THRONES, it's the best fantasy novel ever, hands down. If you don't know how to read, watch the special on hbo. Just as good.
- Music I appreciate
- I like many genres, I'm not one to limit myself in any aspect. My two favourite musical artists are IRON MAIDEN, they just rock, and Wu Tang Clan, who taught me a lot about being a better person and the science of life. I attest them to keeping me outta trouble, along side skateboarding. The Wu Tang are some of the smartest dudes you'll ever hear, and that's because they were humbled by their own life experiences, and they just want to share their knowledge so that others don't make the same mistakes. Wu tang W will be on my arm forever.
- Movies and TV shows I appreciate
- I love action and adventure, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Van Helsing, Comic book movies. Pretty much anything, most particularly old school kung fu flicks or modern ones and movies like Immortals or 300, I love history, especially ancient history.
