- Why I want to join the Temple
- I've a genuine interest in the UFO phenomena and the subject of full, partial or any amount of disclosure.
- About Myself and My interests
- I'm a husband, father, 911 medic and published writer. I've always held a great interest in the various mysteries this world holds and how they might fit into human history.
Aside from writing science fiction and fantasy novels, I enjoy mythology, cryptozoology, UFO topics, politics, (although it frustrates me), reading, movies, fishing, and spending time with my family.
- My Teachers and Influences
- Teachers...hmmm, well my father taught me a great deal about hunting, survival and general outdoorsmanship, while my mother gave me my love for reading and writing.
My wife and children have been the greatest influences on my life.
Other influences upon me were writers such as Tolkien, Arthur C. Clarke, and H.P. Lovecraft and Herman Melville.
- My Goals
- My immediate goal is to become a full-time writer and publish as many GOOD books as I can for others to enjoy. Unfortunately I have the same problem as every writer...mortality and will not live long enough to publish every novel I wish to.
I desire to be the best person I can be and live the best life I can with the time I am given. I've no desire for riches or fame but only wish to learn things simply because I love to learn and desire to leave this life happy, fulfilled and very tired.
- Authors and/or Books I appreciate
- I enjoy nearly anything science fiction and fantasy, but in particular Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Comics, Erich Von Daniken's works, Charles Hapgood...the list goes on and on.
One day I hope that someone might list my books among their favorites.
- Music I appreciate
- Most any music except rap, although there are even a few of rap songs I enjoy. Country music I can appreciate in small doses. I mostly listen to rock, soft-rock, instrumental.
- Movies and TV shows I appreciate
- The Lord of The Rings, Saving Private Ryan, Star Trek Movies, I really enjoyed the new Battlestar Galactica series, the Harry Potter series
