Okay folks, I have a Toshiba, windows 8 laptop that I choose to plug in. When I first had it(less then a year)all I had to do was open it and it would be on. Only once in awhile would I have to start it. For the last month, I've had to start it all the time, and it get harder. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear it was running low on batteries. - I'm 55 and the mother of two. A boy that's 20 and a daughter that is 19 and lightly autistic. She is actually on this site. I love to cook, love reading. That's how I learn...I buy a book. I'm interested in gardening, aroma therapies, wicca, crafts....etc. I'm trying to find a place to get a holistic license. I'm not afraid of being "old". I'm trying to embrace my age instead of hiding it.
- My Teachers and Influences
- My mother was my best teacher. Don't laugh, but my hairdresser helped me with some of my wicca questions, and started me on my way. From my sister, I've learned what not to be. That is definetly an influance.
- My Goals
- to be more even tempered. My online business is now started. I would love to be a better witch, and actually do something besides read. I would like to explore my little psychic energy.
- Authors and/or Books I appreciate
- I love Fern Michaels books, Jude Deveraux. paranormal, mystery, autobiographys like Betty White, Michael J Fox, Dick Van Dyke, etc. books on astral projection, tarot, etc. I love books!! Whoopi Goldberg books.
- Music I appreciate
- where to start...opera, jazz, big band, and yes, disco! From Russell Watson to Rod Stewart, Michael Buble to Village People. I even have some Tanzenan(sp?) witch and ritual music. I don't tend to like heavy metal or rap, but have found a few artists I like there as well. Never say never.
- Movies and TV shows I appreciate
- musicals and dance movies. Cary Grant movies! TV shows: Bones, CSI, Criminal Minds, Angel Charmed Buffy/Vampyre slayr, er, Gomer Pyle, NCIS, Ozzie and Harriet, Sliders, Medium ,I could go on and on...and nature shows.

Hi folks, I'm just curious how people do dishes. (no dishasher)
Now, I know the correct way is to start with the least dirty and work through. For example, starting with the glasses, coffee and tea mugs, moving on to plates and silverware, and then pots and pans.
What I do is soak the silverware, and plates, then move on to the cups and glasses, wash the percolator and tea kettle, the microwave plate. I usually take this time to sanitize my counter, inside the…

They have(are you ready for this?)MMmmm Bacon, Riding Mower, First Down, Movie Night, and Man Town!
I'm a bit afraid to imagine what some of these scents might be.

Last night my friend came to visit......
We were talking and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'
She got up, unplugged my computer and threw out my wine.
