Gibran's power came from some great reservoir of spiritual life else it could not have been so universal and so potent, but the majesty and beauty of the language with which he clothed it were all his own.See More
What is the INNER SELF? What creates the INNER SELF? What affects the INNER SELF? What becomes of the INNER SELF after death? These are some of the questions we may ask and ponder upon in this group. Let's have a go at this shall we?See More
I am interested in surrounding myself with like minded individuals while in my pursuit to find my chosen path during this life.
About Myself and My interests
I am a very open minded individual. I have a hard time tolerating religious and spiritual constraints. I believe we are in the middle of a new age where the fear and constraints of traditional dogma no longer dominate.
My Teachers and Influences
I am greatly influenced by my own personal experience of being told what to believe and how to believe. An Indian Chief of the Lakota nation called Michael Two-Feathers showed me something astonishing, and more real than anything I have ever experienced in my entire life. He also helped me experience the brief separation of body and mind.
My goal is to find my own spiritual path and to surround myself with like minded and accepting individuals that allow me to be myself without judgement.
Authors and/or Books I appreciate
I approached my interest in the occult by the misinformation out there about Aleister Crowley. I was fascinated by the misconception that he was a very horrible and evil man. The more I read about him, the more I found myself being able to relate to him.
Music I appreciate
I enjoy any type of music that touches me. I enjoy artists that are non-conformists. I find them to be strong individuals that I can relate with. I am very open minded when it comes to music.
Movies and TV shows I appreciate
Every since I was a young boy, I enjoyed horror movies. I loved the physical of being scared. As an adult student of Psychology, I began to enjoy analyzing the personality types of the characters. I also enjoy the occasional drama, thriller or even comedy. Movies make us feel emotion when we watch them.
