among the incoherent buzzing of voices there are a few that stand out. There are faces of people i have never seen. I know you are out there, looking for me... searching and wondering where i am. I am where i have always been i say in response to the voice that has appeared to lose me somewhere in the fog of physical existence. i can feel the hurt... the pain of others. Even from a distance. - i would have to say that the people that have influenced me the most are the great writes and thinkers of the world. People that thought outside the box, that brought their hearts and souls to bare for the world to see. People that stand up for what they believe and truly feel and know is right. The people that have made their mark...the people that struggle.. and the people that, even in certain desperation, offered up their true colors, the hearts and souls, braved rejection and saw the rainbow. There would be no true success without struggle...
- My Goals
- I dream big. My goals at the moment are to succeed in my chosen career ( im a massage therapist), to own my own bed and breakfast/salon and spa, and to publish my hearts words in a book of their own, Someday, Raven, someday.
- Authors and/or Books I appreciate
- I am a HUGE Edgar Allan Poe fan. I love his works.. most of which i have read at one time or another in my life. Anne rice had me with Servant of The Bones. Dana Reed ( whose books are mostly out of print now), is by far my favorite. Her amazing horror and twisted endings kept me at the edge of my seat and kept me wishing for more. I love fantasy/fantasy romance/paranormal romance/horror/ some suspense. I will read from a plethora of topics often many books at once on various topics.
- Music I appreciate
- I have a love for almost all music styles. I took music for a solid four years of my life and very much enjoyed it. Singing with the chorus took me to places like New York's Carnegie Hall to perform as a group. And it was an honor and privilege. I also love opera and have seen Phantom of The Opera twice. <3
- Movies and TV shows I appreciate
- big bang theory. animal planet. discovery channel. history channel. some anime.. some cartoons..(i have an almost 7 yr old) but little t.v, usually.
