How pitiful the stars, what is light:To beam its plea through darkness’ fright,To cradle it so lonely, to lose it to the night. How happy are the stars, what is light? To cradle it ’till time is spent,And watch a mortal repent. Though you and I are islands apart,And beam our light across a distance,I hope our love…See More

Through nature’s eyes

The era of construction; the age of destruction: The ant, it weeps – the broom it sweeps. The era of relenting – the day of weeping; Slowly the little masons are eating…   Shadows creep by; lives just fly; Thy fly away – poisoned each day. A day for…

Oracle In Bedlam -= A Page for the Mentally ill

Oracle in Bedlam, do you have a desk lamp, You poked out blind men’s eyes With the pen they gave you out of pity. They took your lamp away And locked you far away Oracle in Bedlam, do you have a spare lamp, Do you have a spare pen to write…

Pagan Page of poetry

By the bridge is met, One pixy and a dwarf; So they will your future set, When he rubs his little scarf. By the trickling stream so clear, They meet only once a year – To paint the flowers red, And make mushroom soup, To pickup with their magic…

Daily Thoughts.

I’d like to talk a little about the Goddess of the snow today, whom I also call Quixè. She is quite amazing, She is; and when we look at her that way, she becomes our own…   Now don’t think you can “own,” the goddess, if that blows up in your face…

What is going on in Pisces

Hi All I am studying astrology a little bit, and I’ve noticed a lot of planets are coming together in Pisces, particularly in the tenth of March. Can anyone tell me what this means? SincerelyQnuanSee More

welcome to forest! Blessed be! I hope to teach and learn from everyone!I am the radiant King of the Heavens, flooding the earth with warmth encouraging the hidden seed of creation to germinate into manifestation.Ergo my shining spear to light the lives of all beings and daily pour my gold on Earth, expelling the forces of darkness.I am the master of animals wild and free.I run with the deer and agile hover like a hawk in the sky sparkling sacred. The ancient woods and wild places emanate my…See More

Profile Information

Why I want to join the Temple
To learn and share
About Myself and My interests
I am a Christian with a curiosity and fascination about many occult things and their people. I am none-judgmental, but primarily value all principles and laws of The Word. I started out as a Christian, but tried out some other paths for a while; though having learned allot I decided to return to “my first love,” which is Christ. I still enjoy talking with all my friends from other paths, while still revering and learning from their experiences and wisdom.

I'm also a poet and have my own group in The Temple, know as: Pondering People: link: http://www.templeilluminatus.com/group/ponderingpeople

One of my favorite poems is this one, talking about God's existence.

Death is a secret, silent wish,
Poised and drifting in a stream,
Owned by neither moon nor fish,
Only eyes reflect its gleam:
Where silver drops pervert,
And so the truth conceal,
Men’s hearts much doubt insert,
’Gainst fish and moon to kneel
To glitters neither here nor there;
Yet here and there bow down,
And pray there was a stair
To bestow on it a crown.
Oh, ocean mirroring the moon,
I hope you find a mirror soon.

Be blessed!
My Teachers and Influences
Anyone can be a teacher, even a pet or a wild animal, even a child or a winding stream, and if I may say so the best of teachers they are.

Of God I can say this, a sonnet from Shakespeare, which I revised a little to be a poem of praise, Sonnet 113:

Since you found me, mine eye is in my mind,
And that which governs me to go about,
Doth part his function, and is partly blind,
Seems seeing, but effectually is out:
For it no form delivers to the heart
Of bird, of flower, or shape which it doth latch,
Of his quick objects hath the mind no part,
Nor his own vision holds what it doth catch:
For if it sees the rud’st or gentlest sight,
The most sweet favour or deformed’st creature,
The mountain, or the sea, the day, or night:
The crow, or dove, it shapes them to your feature.
O, with such plenteous replete with you,
My most true mind thus maketh mine untrue.

I was also inspired to write another poem, portraying God feminine, which is also reflected by the wall paper in my room. (The wall paper was designed by our dear temple owner, Mistress Leila Raven) Blessings to her kind soul. :-)

Temptation’s gusts do blow across,
It shook spring’s blossom and she fell,
Her gay blossom bloody bloom emboss,
Decorating death’s gaping jaws so well,
For where all thousands in her chill freeze;
You chose to become a blossom in the snow.
Ah, in the reaper’s boot you found a crease
And here, oh, death-blue flower; you grow!
Blue-too-black; you drink the chill scornfully in,
Dare I inhale your sensory impeding defiance?
Then all worldly views seem flawed; and so you win.
This why, oh, immortal flower; in you, I put my reliance:
You try not to escape death’s icy grip,
You mock death and from her essence life rip!
My Goals
I would prefer not speaking of my goals too much, but I like working with people and hope to attain a degree in psychology one day. I’d like to have a family one day, but I have a lot of dreams; I might end up neglecting them for the sake of my pursuits, only time will tell. I’d like to learn about herbs and other plants; I think I’m spending far too little time in the garden. Also I’m due for grading, and then I’ll be a Black belt. If I can I’d like to expand my knowledge on the martial arts.
Authors and/or Books I appreciate
Okay, here’s the thing: I seldom read for leisure. I don’t read very often, but if I start off, I can read a whole sage. As for what books I read well, it’s a wide verity: I’ve read Harry Potter, but then again I’ve also read “In search for Schrödinger’s cat.” I despise soppy love stories; a book must have substance. I’d rather try and read one of Shakespeare’s sonnets than just picking up any old random thing. I also enjoy the writings of Kahlil Gibran, his “The Profit” is always new to me.
Music I appreciate
For most of my life I’ve been a classical fan; as it is I have this idea for a musical piece in my head, which won’t go away. Damn! If only I were a composer, lol. Since 2008/9 I’ve started to listen to contemporary music: I enjoy Avrill Lavigne, Evanescence, Nickel Back, Cascada, to mention a few. As for my classics, I can enjoy a calm piece of music, but mostly I listen to things like Beethoven’s ninth symphony, Mozart’s requiem, Mendelssohn’s third and forth symphony, Vivaldi’s four seasons; the list goes on. Metal is still growing on me.
Movies and TV shows I appreciate
I enjoy almost any kind of movie, I can watch “I love you Beth Cooper,” “A Beautiful mind,” “The Exorcist,” “The Sound of Music.” I like “Two and a half men,” “My Family,” “NCIS,” “Mr. Bean,” and even, sometimes “Oprah.” You name it; chances are I’ll watch it. However war movies can become very boring, yet still I enjoyed: “Valkyrie,” “Enemy at the gate,” and “Saving Private Ryan.” I don’t like bloody horror movies; it’s boring; I can eat while watching that. Thus, saw … doesn’t do it for me. I liked the movie “Train,” that’s my kind of horror; either that or “Whisper,” “Case 39,” “Unborn,” that’s the type of horrors I enjoy. Yes I am a “Twilight” fan. Lastly, I might surprise you and watch “Ice age” or some other random animation like “Gummy Bears.”

A robot, can't be pure, because a robot can't be tempted. I suppose they call white pure for the same reason: all other colours are “programmed,” white can be filled with any colour. Therefore, we can quickly see when white becomes dirty; it is the colour, which shows quickly. People are like this colour, no matter what race you are.…

You should be able to delete the Group. As the Group Creator you can do this. You may want to consider sending a blanket message to all existing members advising them that it is closing. If you have problems with closing it let me know.
