old castles where once the breath of life was strong
reminds my of my slaughtered ancestors
living in peace, joy, and strength
gathering their children for the telling of tales
now nothing but graveyards remain
castles turned to funeral pyres
and no one left to weep for them
who were there first, and reeled
at the beautiful bounty they experienced in nature
