Now onto my history...

I'm 24 from the south east of England, UK, my first memory was at the age of 4 when i first joined school. all the other kids were playing games and i was walking around the playground, picking and mixing berries and leaves and singing little songs that i made up. I've always been/felt different to others and that used to really upset me through my teenage years but I've since found the beauty in being unique/quirky/obscure etc. 

When I was 7-10, I had an 'imaginary friend' called Victoria, she turned out to be a ghost which i only found out years later after talking with my dad who confirmed that he'd seen her too. So I thought that was pretty cool. 

At 12, I woke up from sleeping one day and heard someone calling me Akasha, so thats my spiritual name. I also found out a few years after finding this name, that the Akashic records hold all the knowledge of the universe and that the Akasha is the fifth element after earth, air, fire, water. So I love my name even more now.

The first book I picked up on the craft when i was 12 and decided that surely someones written about this stuff and maybe i can learn things, was Raymond Buckland's The Complete Book Of Witchcraft which is an Amazing book to learn all the practicalities and such from! Over the past two years, I've discovered Charles Leyland and the creation theory, The Vangelo (which is a blog on my page below). The creation theory has now lead me onto Aradia, from which I've found texts on The Age Of The Daughter which Everyone should be reading about. (also a blog on my page)

I only practise the craft when absolutely necessary as I dont believe that just because its there and its harnessable, that it should be over-used or treated with disrespect and therefore, I basically celebrate the sabbats, do a hell of a lot of research and learn all that i can learn on the subject, and practise if there is a good reason to do so. Such as binding harmful people, and sabbatical purposes. Sex and love were my specialities but having learnt the hard way, they are not subjects to be dabbled in just for the sake of feeling witchy and getting what you Think you want. I also hold a gift for divination. I have precognitive dreams, a knack for the tarot and runes, and I am also now learning to scry with crystals and mirrors. 

I am a solitary witch but I'm currently aiming to do some travelling to seek out and learn from others who know The Way. I'm not one of those people who like to 'dress the part' of the witch as I think that this is basically asking for extra stigma to be attached to what we do. I like to look and be feminine but with the ability to disappear into a crowd if I wanted to. 

I'm also an empath and in the process of learning telepathy which is really interesting but not half as easy as you'd think. lol. It all gets a bit confusing trying to work out if the thought in your mind is Actually your thought or if it belongs to someone near to you instead. My friend and I were discussing this the other day and we seem to have established that if the idea has traceable thought, its generally your own thought, but if it pops out of no-where, its possibly someone elses thought, particularly if it's not something thats normally in your thought quota ( e.g. thought - shampoo. 1. traceable thought for shampoo = seeing an advert for shampoo and thinking that you might get some, 2. popping/telepathic shampoo thought = watering the plants and suddenly think of shampoo even thought you washed your hair this morning and dont need to buy anymore or even think about it at all, and yet it arrives in your head). Its taken me a while to develop this basic form of telepathy, and deciphering who's thoughts are who's in crowded places or when you dont know the person well enough to ask if you have, in fact, just read their mind, gets a bit complicated sometimes so its tricky to develop around the 'unaware'. I do, however, think that being an empath and being able to read/feel moods, is a real major help to creating the mental/spiritual links necessary for successful telepathy. Its incredibly interesting to work with thats for sure. =)
