lol :D – some years back I was considering a spider name for myself before the mantis, always loved daddy-long-legs as the mysterious stealthy one; fun little fellas haha good friends of mine. House spiders unfortunately have been a problem in our garage and basement. They did quite a number on my dad lately with bites (as he sleeps in the basement) almost as if getting revenge for spraying them out of the garage. Crazy buggers and luckily I haven’t had any trouble with them, catching some in the plastic trap-box on occasion while my sister napkin kills without mercy, and she’s particularly got the allergies to spider bites. – Arachniaphobia was a great movie.

Then for rats, the film ‘Of Unknown Origin’ lol as the guy destroys the entire house trying to hunt down a single killer rat, including the toilet attack scene :”D septic rats indeed. I remember H. P. Lovecraft had a ‘Rats in the Walls’ story. I’ve got to pick up a good collection book of his. I’m quite a Edgar Allan Poe expert and gotta get my Lovecraft going this October. – James Herbert I haven’t yet read and will sure check out his novels. Thanks for mentioning it : )

Talking about rats have you ever read the British horror novelist James Herbert's trilogy of The Rats? Might be something worth checking out if you haven't already Daniel. :-)

I'm hoping they'll have an Innistrad / Dark Ascension book series coming soon for this set, which usually accompanies the new cards and artwork. Lorwyn / Shadowmoor is another from 3 to 5 years back that I'm looking to start reading on, with more of the swampland voodoo focus including boggarts and scarecrows, sort of The Hobbit meets Children of the Corn lol :D Innistrad as the werewolf / vampire theme is the kind of old pilgrim and witch trails atmosphere that's sure to be awesome stuff for novelization. Next up I'm collection on giant spiders and 'Septic Rats' to come.
