The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

A pleasure , Janet ~ one of the reasons for me sharing, is that I have found that energy must flow, in and out again. Blockages in energy are harmful and cause dis-ease of all kinds if the flow is not restored soon.

So, I am doing what is recommended by my favourite Mystic, Lao Tsu, when he says, " She who gives all, receives all"

Kali is not for the faint-hearted, and getting acquainted with this Goddess is not all niceness and sweet flowers to begin with. The lessons that Kali teaches are profound, and reach into the very roots of who we are. The infinite rewards one finds at the end of the Rainbow are so very worth the experience of learning the lessons one needs to, and ridding oneself of the "inner demons" that retard one's spiritual progress along the way.

In this pose, known as Chinnamasta, the Goddess symbolises Death and eternal Life to Her devotees. Kali beheads Herself and allows the life force, symbolised by the blood flowing, to infuse her devotees with the essence of Goddess. Kali stands upon a couple, showing that the only way to true union and one-ness with the Divine is through divine sexuality, also known as Tantric sexuality.

Meditating on the various portrayals of Kali, opens the consciousness to primal imagery and speaks to the very innermost core of one's being. A truly transcedental experience.

Jai Kali-Ma!

What the extremists fail to grasp, is that Black is the Yin, the Earth, the vastness of infinite space ~ and that is why Kali and Azar, and at times, Isis, are portrayed as Black .

White is the Yang, the Heavens, the the Light or spark of Creation, the male principle of the Universe. Shiva also manifests as Maha-Kala, and is black, and even blue in colour. In the picture, he is white, not to indicate black supremacy and white inferiority at all on a racial level, but to symbolise the Male Principle of the Universe..

Kali is in a posture of shock and amazement in this classic picture that I posted below.

Kali was annihilating demons on behalf of all the gods who could not defeat the demon king, as he multiplied whenever a drop of this blood touched the ground.

So, Kali went on a rampage of destruction, absorbing the demons one by one until none remained, and order again prevailed . Unfortunately for the Gods who had invoked the primal force of the Dark Goddess of the Abyss to solve the little problem with a very stubborn demon, the Goddess had worked Herself into such a rage of killing fury , that none could bring the carnage to an end.

Shiva, the consort of the Goddess, also known as Lucifer, made a supreme gambit by throwing himself in the direct path of the oncoming , wrathful Goddess.

The picture shows how, at the instant Kali realises that She is standing on top of Herself and Her other half, Her son, brother and partner, the Goddess stops immediately and Her tongue hangs out in amazement .

The Yin is potential, the Darkness ~ as Lao Tsu would say, "Darkness within darkness; the gateway to all understanding";

the Yang is action, the Light ; and no meaningful creation can take place without the balanced interaction between the two universal principles, or forces.

This is the true meaning and significance of colour. Black, White, illusion on the outside, both wythin.

The Goddess and God who showed me the real and only significance of colour.

Yes, Janet, it is only a matter of time before things return to sanity again.

I see it a as a process, as the old racist and discriminatory aspects of the human psyche are being replaced with values of Love. Nothing happens overnight.

A way of looking at Rastas is to see everyone as an individual. Beliefs and practices differ widely from area to area, and it is only the extremists of any political/social/religious group that cause the trouble and cast a shadow on the whole.Reggae is the music of life, love and freedom from oppression, and as a lifelong fan, I would never dis the movement or music per se. I was just making observations based on my own personal experiences, that's all.

No-one can be on the same path, and we must respect and honour the uniqueness and sanctity of all others who venerate Nature.

All I know, is that we all end up as the same, grey- coloured pile of ashes one day.

You know, I do admire Bob Marley for just being who he was and standing up for what he thought was right, despite, as you say, Janet, having to take it as a result.

On the other hand, I was reading through the "Royal Parchment of Black Supremacy" ~ One of the Rastafari sacred texts, and can't agree with a lot of points, with all due respect.

Racial discrimination is equally as bad coming from a previously oppressed "group" of people.

It was the part within the Book about wanting to put a curse on the Obeah, or Serpent Worshipping traditions of Africa and Witches that concern me, as well as some very racist parts of the text, which were the main reasons I decided to part with my early experimentations with Rasta spirituality some 25 years ago.

I find it highly hypocritical to honour Bob Marley as the King of Reggae; and yet, he was a half-half, just like me(well, quite a lot darker lols), and that's not quite "black" enough for some racist bigots in todays world it seems - and yet dark enough to warrant racism from some "pure white" people... what madness.

I hope that the new generation of Christians, Islamic people, Jewish people and others can find it within themselves to take out such like offending passages from their Holy Books.

The Goddess does not wish for any Religion or form of spirituality to be overthrown. The Goddess is the Mother of us all!

There will always be people who resonate with these forms of Religion, and it's not up to us to insist that our way is the only right way, or try to force religion on anyone. Our lives, which are lived in Love, are our testimony.

From my side, I would be happy to see passages such as "Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live" etc, erased from the Bible and thus the collective memory of the new generation.

We cannot apply medieval constructs to modern spirituality, or modern peoples' lives anymore. Time for change.

Yes, Janet, it is the time now for women to do it for themselves, and be assisted by the men who respect and love women as they do themselves.

This is true Yin-Yang energy, and, no, nothing can stop it or the time.

We all need a God, too...and men must realise that by denigrating - and placing restrictions on women, which is discrimination based on gender,  they are denigrating and restricting themselves. We are all both male and female inside, and this is the truth. A scientific, biological and soul fact.

Women must remove themselves from the trap of trying to live up to men, for the exclusive benefit of men. This is at the basis of the Porn and sex industry. Females must perform like circus monkeys for the sole enjoyment of men, and many are living in a state of virtual slavery to the pimp and the men who create the demand for this... If you have a look at the classifieds, hardly anywhere do you notice a male prostitute advertised for women. 99% of prostitutes are women, and this to me tells a story. The whole sick industry is about denigrating women.

Well, things they are a changin'. We are returning back to the way it is supposed to be, where we can live in love instead of living in fear.

To our Ancestors, the sexual act was a pleasure as well as facilitating new birth, which in itself was an event; and not an unwanted pregnancy from a drunkard and cheater or HIV from a rapist :

Sex is a sacred and intimate act of pleasure, and many believe that the moment of orgasmic release is when we can see the Divine. There is no need to be coy about it anymore. All the Ancients knew this to be true. Sex is a gift from the Divine Goddess, and is meant to be special and sacred, not cheap and nasty.

And its only cheap and nasty when women give it all up for the exclusive benefit of men, and play the game. Sharing becomes taking, and taking leads to abuse. This is no more acceptable to women. Women have the right to say NO. And herein lies much power.

We demand Equal Rights, and a return to a society based on Equality in all aspects of life. Women's bodies are sacred. And no-one has the right to either impose their sexual desires on unwilling women , or interfere between a woman and her child... and, what is not understood, is that any restrictions placed on others, will most definitely return to restrict , right back at ya ;).

You cannot apply medieval rules and restrictions on a rather more evolved society!

The change to a better future and life for the children, must start with the women of this world. We are all Divine ~ do we act as if we are who we are, though?

If all women joined forces and took back the power, this would be a much better place for all beings who live on the planet, for sure , Janet.

Love and Blessings to you!

The Ancient Egyptian and Greek way of saying how much the Goddess means to them ~

"Divine Isis, Goddess of Ten Thousand names, I invoke your Grace.

The Gods above adore You, the Gods below do homage to You:

You set the orb of heaven spinning above the poles, You give light to the sun, You govern the universe. At Your voice, the spirits of earth rejoice, the elements obey.

At Your nod the winds blow, clouds drop wholesome rain upon the earth, seeds quicken, buds swell.

Birds that fly through the air, beasts that prowl on the mountain, serpents that lurk in the dust, all these tremble in single awe of You.

Come to our temple, oh Goddess: dwell in our shrine: make our hearth Your altar: our hearts Your home."

Blessed be, to one and all. What a lovely day!
