To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

As Cian has posted something so beautiful in honouring the Pagan festival of Imbolc , and it's Lammas or Lughnasadh in the Southern Hemisphere, a time to be anticipating and beginning the harvest to come ~ I was inspired to say a little something about Lughnasadh, which is the original Pagan way of naming this day in honour of the Celtic Sun God Lugh .

Just as the first faint stirrings of Spring are evident in the cold North; so the first hints of Autumn are sensed in the air in the South.

After the Summer Solstice, the power of the Sun God declines and He is destined for a symbolic sacrifice ~ dying a symbolic death before being resurrected by the power of the Goddess at Yule.

As a Goddess person, I honour the Corn Goddesses, Isis, Ceres and Demeter at this time, and celebrate all of the spectacular and amazing gifts of the Goddess which I'm eternally grateful for.

There's an old saying;that goes something like; "You will know the Tree by the fruit"

The Tree of the Goddess gives the best fruit, juicy and delicious. So may it bless all here forever with it's sparkling iridescence :)
