To me this era was a very intriguing one......romantic...sometimes dark....... have always been fascinated with it... The dress fashions, the poetry,decor...... the fact that back then we wrote letters..... to me that is a treasure ..not emails like in today's times...moments were cherished
share what you wish here vintage art -old photographs- art you created of this era- poetry- movie clips- music anything you wish
also not only has it been a time of romance,, but slightly dark/ morbid to me as well....
all of the postmortem photos they would take of those whom passed on.... yet i got to say i love it! haha

i was also were very fascinated with the more darker ages as well , from earlier as renaissance /Edwardian/ Pre-Raphaelite Tales of kings and their queens sorcery and the craft in the times,...there were always many wicked little sins kept hidden behind castle walls,
have any stories to share about these times? any photos ? poetry music ? please do share ( : ((darkly or romantic))) ;-)
dont forget also new vintage ~ steam punk style

So glad for the invite! I love the Victorian era, and I'm not sure why except that it's so pretty and creepy a the same time. First discussion article I read was the 'creepy' one lol - I hate that I never bothered to find out exactly what 'Memento Mori' actually *was* - and I love it! My house decor is influenced quite a bit of Victorian influence (though I really lean toward hollywood regency). Can't wait to post more and share!
