Many times I have trodden the rocky path,
Lichen laced boulders strewn by ancient giants,
Each step takes me deeper into the recesses of my mind,
Illuminating the darkness, forcing me to see, to understand...
Many times I have vowed to follow that path,
Hurdles strewn by a habitual life,
Each step takes me further from my truth and vision,
Plunged once more into darkness, blind and ignorant...
Now... The path is my life, impossible not to walk,
No more a dichotomy of following or blind wandering,
Each step creating myself in new and unique ways,
Observing, Honouring, Learning... Being.
