Can you please tell us what the cards are?  they are a bit blurry. :D  I do love the car mat.. my kids had one when they were younger!

lol yeah i'm in my babies room :)  my son loves that rug.  he tells me i'm blockng the road when i'm on the floor changing his brother ha!  oddly enough i typically move at his command, but then again he's an eight so it just comes off like he's the one in charge :)  all this at 3 years old - i'm in trouble..

the significator is the 2 of cups reversed, then on top is the lovers, card 2 is the 7 of wands, then 3 is the queen of swords, page of pentacles, ace of pentacles, 9 of cups, the hanged man, knight of cups reversed, the emporer reversed, five of swords reversed, five of cups reversed, death reversed, the chariot reversed, ace of wands.

Hi Meighan,

Well I pulled out my cards today and placed them in accordance to what you have shown and written.  LOL.. I'm still pretty much a novice at this as well cause I need my books!  I'm still learning what all the cards mean.  So bear with me.

I don't know who these cards were pulled for but I will just start at what I see and a progression that seems to come to my mind as I see the cards laid before me.

First thing that stands out strongly, is with the 2 of cups rx, lovers on top and the 7 of wands laying across.  This indicates to me, that there is a disagreement between lovers or someone who is loved and the person who this spread was drawn for is the person standing their ground in the disagreement.  The crowning card is the queen of swords who is the female in this pair that is trying to make decisions based on intent.  Usually just and fair, but since she is also a sword card also has a sharp tongue which is like a double edge sword.  This matter of argument is surrounded by the Ace of coins and Page of coins which could indicate this quarrel that is happening about finances of some sort.  The Ace signifies that it is perhaps a new financial undertaking or trying to decide about making a large purchase.  The Page of Coins could indicate that word has come (a message) from a source about this financial matter that is being argued (debated) over.

To the side shows the reversed hangman, which indicates that whatever financial decision that must be made had been in suspension for a while and is now coming out of it.  There are warning signs surrounding this card with a reversed death and Knight of Cups reversed.  It shows that if not careful decisions made in haste could lead to a poor decisions which will not turn out for the good of either party.  This financial issue has some deceit that must be addressed.  The reversed emperor  shows the male that is in control of this situation is a bit harsh perhaps a bit domineering.  But since the crowning card is the queen of swords, the female is holding her own quite well.  The chariot reversed says that as the two work through all of these issues, there will be some setbacks.  It's not all doom and gloom however, the reversed 4 of cups shows there is hope to resolve the situation.  The five of Swords reversed says that at the end of the road there will be vindication, restoration and forgiveness for all involved. The ace of wands indicates a rush of renewed energy and new inspirations.  It is a fire card therefore action is in forward motion that will be in the favor of the two lovers as they resolve the issue they are arguing about.

There is one card I have yet to mention which is the 9 of cups.  which is a special card in a reading like this.  It is considered the wish card and when this card is drawn, the wish made often will come true.  But with warning, be careful for what you wish for.

In all, the cards to me show that there are many obstacles that must be dealt with before the outcome can be favorable.  It may seem like bad things are occurring, but if the person who these cards were drawn for can hold out through it as it shows with the 7 of wands standing mightily defending the lovers who are quarreling, the outcome of will be beneficial to all.

So that's what I got out of the cards :).

regarding the mat, I love how kids are!  Don't step there!  you destroyed my road!  Mom i'm going to use you as a mountain if you don't move!  I loved that age!  enjoy them.

that's actually very accurate.  wow, my intuition is always off when i try to read for myself.  sometimes I think knowing the actual question can work against you lol  i think you nailed it without having any idea of what i asked.

Glad you resonated with the reading :)  I always find that trying to read ourselves is very difficult.  We are too emotionally invested in the situation that it can be hard to see things objectively.  This also goes for anyone that is close to us like family.  So your reading of what you think you see in the cards can be different from what someone else sees.  I do know that sometimes when I see cards like this pull up for me.  i tend to get very fatalistic in views about myself and miss some very glaring and obvious reasons.  So don't stress yourself about it.
