Hail the Great Goddess! Everything is sacred - and the magickal herbs and plants which are our allies, should be respected as such, in my humble opinion.

Take Absinthe, for example. Absinthe is a drink made by brewing the leaves of Artemisia vulgaris, also known as Wormwood.

Where the 'vulgaris' part comes from, I just don't know! Artemisia is a Lunar herb sacred to... Artemisia, and is a great aid in dreaming . A few leaves of Artemisa brewed in a tea pot at Full Moon, can do wonders

A name for Absinthe, is the Green Fairy.

Some say the Green Fairy is a sophisticated city girl rather than a traditionally forest and woodland Spirit. Still others have still been searching for someone more radiantly magickal ever since they met her

Now everything in Nature is toxic; it just depends on the dosage. Nothing in excess, is freedom in itself:)

Certain plants have extremely potent healing potential, and correctly administered, can really be invaluable allies. Unfortunately, some have been criminalized in many places, as profit rules over sanity these days.

Now that's progress, back to the Old Ways:)

Cannabis prevents cancer, especially brain cancer.

It is privately recommended to patients recovering from chemotherapy.

Asthma? Cannabis cures hospital admittance cases before they get there for treatment . Once I saved someone's life in this way.

Alcohol is a drug, which if taken in moderation, can improve one's sense of precognition! We all know what happens though, to the families and car crash victims of alcoholics. Don't mix alcohol with any natural herb, they clash:)

I learned that the Goddess does not like us to do anything in excess, or cause harm to ourselves or others! Who needs to take anything at all, when the love of the Goddess, is the most potent drug of all?

I just wish to add, that the question of whether pharmaceuticals are 'safe', is as valid as asking whether any other substance is safe. I have no comment, as I've almost never used any.(Just saying)
