The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realises that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

- Deanna. J. Conway

"Lakmy, or Lakshmi, the passive or feminine counterpart of Vishnu, the creator and preserver, is also called Ada Maya.

She is the Mother of the World, Damatri, the Venus Aphrodite of the Greeks; also Isis and Eve.

While Venus is born of the sea-foam, Lakmy springs out from the water at the churning of the sea; when born, she is so beautiful that all the gods fall in love with her."

"Traditional western hypocrisy towards sex has prevented serious study of human sensuality in the western world until only a few decades ago.

Like everything else in western philosophy, sex is viewed through the lens of dualism: it is seen as sacred (in matrimony) or profane (out of wedlock), with no room for anything in-between.

The Chinese, however, do not draw distinctions between sacred and profane sex.As far as Taoists are concerned, the only important distinctions regarding sexual activities are those between healthy and unhealthy habits.

...In all the ancient Chinese sex manuals, woman is always depicted as the guardian of sexual arcana and the supreme source of life-sustaining essence and energy. In these texts the woman plays the role of the great initiator and teacher of sex, while the man is described as the sexually ignorant bumbler.

Because of her sexual potency, woman was regarded as the possessor of great stores of teh(power)...

...For single people in Western societies today, multiple partners present relatively little conflict, but married people should not engage openly in extra-marital relations unless both husband and wife are followers of Tao and fully understand the principles and practices involved.

For such enlightened couples, occasional bouts with younger, more vigorous partners not only benefits health and vitality, they also reinforce the marriage itself by eliminating the single greatest threat to marital bliss, which is not infidelity but sexual dissatisfaction and boredom."
