The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realises that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

I learnt something new this morning ~ that the Hindu Goddess Sri Bali is none other than Cybele!

This synchronicity is by no means unusual ~ if one has to learn of the various Goddesses in the Hindu pantheon and compare the aspects of the Goddesses with Mediterranean, North African, Near Eastern and European Goddesses - actually in all places during pre-patriarchal times - the striking similarities which become apparent as the study unfolds leave one with no doubt whatsoever that we are observing the root traditions and expressions of a worldwide, universal Goddess civilization, each culture celebrating and venerating the Divine Feminine in their own ways. The Great Goddess Kali becomes Lilith; Tiamat; An.Zu, Hekate and Ereshkigal. And then appears as Maiden, Mother and Crone both separately and simultaneously at once!

I was wondering,

just how would it be  ~ if Isis and Lilith were to magickally join with each other or morph into a dual combined Goddess ?

Or Tiamat and Diana? Or any of a trillion combinations for that matter ~ as the Goddess is within all things and appears just as and where SHE will, at any time or place ~ when we call out, and are sincere, SHE is always here :)

Cybele is coming!

Have a lovely day, and

Blessed Goddessing

"The Good People ~ A euphemism used during the seventeenth century for  Witches and devotees of pre-Christian Deities and Traditions."

"The perspective of the "fertility cult" understands the world as being filled with magical forces that must be balanced and carefully manipulated to achieve harmony.

If any of these forces are pushed too far in any direction, balance is shattered and disharmony reigns; growth (fertility, prosperity, abundance) stagnates or stops."

"In the dualist view, soul and body are distinct, and potentially in serious conflict. There's only one of each and by nature they are out of balance.Too much attention to the finite body (and for extreme dualists, any attention) only places the immortal soul in danger. To strengthen the side of good, the perishable physical body must be sublimated, perhaps even mortified, and the soul nourished."

"Because "evil" is now understood as absolutely distinct  from "good", serious theological concerns arise as to the origins of evil, where it comes from, who's responsible and how can it be eradicated once and for all. Questions as to who is leading each side, exactly who is responsible and in charge, become crucial.

Those concerns aren't relative to the old shamanic/fertility cult perspective.

It doesn't figure value judgements into the equasion, at least not on an abstract basis. Any power (light, dark, masculine, feminine) may be used for good or evil; it is how it is used that affects the outcome. The power in itself is neutral."
