~ The Goddess
Once upon a time in ancient China, a mystic by the name of Lao Tzu attained the level of Ascended Master. This means simply that he had advanced spiritually to the point where his body became the pure Light of the Divine - of Nature - and he no longer needed it to continue to live .
Before this happened though, he lived for around two hundred years, extending his lifespan by the practice of the Tao.
Lao Tzu saw the Great Goddess, the Creator and destroyer of All things, to be totally beyond description. He could not put what he was experiencing, into words, and so, he called "it", the Tao. The source of all things, the way the universe operates, and within and without of himself.
" The Tao doesn't take sides,
it gives birth to both increase and decrease.
The Master doesn't take sides,
she welcomes both saints and transgressors"
When I have criticized others who view Lilith as being evil, I have expressed this from the heart. Not to harm anyone, but simply because I can't equivilate the Goddess Lilith I experience with any of the classical patriarchal ideas of the Goddess, which go beyond Dark to being basically "evil.
I always saw Lilith as being One Goddess of Many Names, and consider this to be true in every way.
I have learned though, that to interfere in the Path of others or impose ones own way of seeing things on others, is not the way of the Goddess.
I forgive, and welcome forgiveness.
I honour the Goddess Lilith as the Great Goddess, the Divine Feminine Principle of the Universe and many here venerate Lilith in other ways, some of which I understand and others, not at this stage.
So after all of that I just want to say that if I have offended anyone here , it was not my intent. Rather it was a way in a roundabout way, of expressing my care and concern for the spiritual wellbeing of others.Care can translate easily to interference, though. By interfering,in a group which is centered on aspects of Lilith which don't resonate with my way, was incorrect.
I will be leaving the group, not because of any other reason than to have respect for the cherished beliefs of others in this group, whom as Alannah once mentioned, do see things from another perspective.
I would love to chat about anything related to Lilith, and all are more than welcome to pop in for a visit by me any time.I honour the Goddess of myriad Names and forms within the Great Goddess and Dragon Shrine groups and all are welcome in the spirit of mutual respect and peace.
Goddess blessings to All,
and thank you to the host of the group, Trina Marie, for your patience and tolerance. I honestly respect that trait, as it shows true character.
"Yet mystery and manifestations
arise from the same source.
This source is darkness.
Darkness within darkness,
the gateway to all understanding"
~Lao Tzu
