What kind of infection is it? I had MRSA (Staph Infection) as sometimes I still have it which depends on what I eat. I had to avoid any type of sweet such as sugar, high fructose corn syrup except Stevia. Both sugar and HFCS can cause more infection to increase. I had to avoid it at all cost even the medications I could not take which made me sicker. If have infection, need to avoid penicillin or any medicine which has '-in' at the end of each name of medication which will more than likely to increase infection as well. I took garlic (raw) chopped up into smaller pieces which is a natural antibiotic as well as taking Oil of Oregano (under North American Herbs & Spices) in tincture. From these two helped to lessen the infection and hadn't been sick since 2006 from surgery. I hope this will help you out.
