Thank you Hari  Kiri prabhu  starting this group, I was blessed to be initiated by his grace Srila Prabhupada in detroit iskcon 1973 and in detroit 1972-1979 and other temples ,still fallow 4 regulations ,no meat no sex no intoxation or gambleing and chant HARE KRISHNA !!!!

Check out Canto 5 of Srimad bhagavatam for great understanding of the planetary systems...but what Eddie says sums it all up with regards to Earth...

Earth is considered to be a middle planet. Meaning the enjoyment is not that great and the suffering is not that bad.If you're using a number scale - I would call that a 4.5
Don't forget that many great sages and avataras have appeared on the earth.
The problem is people don't listen to them and the knowledge gets twisted and lost.

according to vedic scroptures there are 9 grades of planets number 9 being the worst. Earth is a number 7.lets work together as humans to raise this number for all the humans.
