Hello my fellow lightworkers! I have been lax about posting on here but that will all change now. I wanted to start a discussion about actual lightwork. We talk about it a lot and there are lots of posts and stories on the internet of people saying, "I am a LightWorker" but I haven't seen many descriptions of that work.
I am currently struggling with the actual work. I tend to think that every moment is a chance to perform LightWork and we should be on our "best behavior" at all times. But this is sometimes hard. Personally, I know that I do not always act in a way that I think a LightWorker should. Franky, relationships and interacting with other humans can be very challenging, especially your own family.
The other day, I was asked by my best friend, "Can you name one thing you've done that wasn't for you recently?" And I couldn't think of one thing. I've done normal things like babysitting for my cousin, but nothing beyond that. I call myself a Lightworker but the only "work" I am currently doing is for myself, if even that. I have a lot of potential to make my life and the lives of others better, but I am not doing it.
So it seems now is the time to start the Lightwork, using what I know and applying it to the real world, instead of just playing it over and over in my head. But what should I do to start? Is it simply a matter of going experience to experience and performing at your personal best? Or is it actually going out of your way and volunteering at a homeless shelter or some other selfless act?
If anyone shares similar thoughts, feelings, or has any insight, I would greatly appreciate it ;)
