You know, odd as it may seem to some of us, that was a good question.  It seems that although one is usually instructed that the the "navel" is 2 or 3 fingers above the belly button, some of us actually find that energy center to be located higher, closer to the top of the solar plexus rather than the lower side of the solar plexus muscle in elevation along the length of the body.  Oddly enough, people who's solar plexus energy center is located higher along the length of the body seem to also have a different center of gravity than most other people.

Lol, just one more relatively useless point of information I have picked up over the years.  Thanks for good-humoredly putting up with my off-the-wall rap.  I only add it because someday someone might even benefit from that odd bit of knowledge.  :)

I have always seen the navel as being in the entirely in the Solar Plexus area. I see the Sacral area as encompassing the space where a woman's womb would be. With the Base Chakra at the anus.

I have a question for the Group.  The navel seems to be situated between the sacral chakra and solar plexus.  Does it belong to one or the other?  It is important in some of the work that I do, both as an acting teacher and in this new practice I have developed involving mindful contemplation of erotic imagery while celibate.  If you have information on this, and also if you have a link to discussion of this online somewhere, I would be much obliged.
