I just newly in love with blues because i figured out that blues is the only root that strengthen the music i loved today, hiphop.

Any Blues Brothers fans out there? I couldn';t tell you how many times (I lost track) that I saw the original movie. I never get tired of watching it. I thought it was really funny. Dany Akroyd and John Belushi were so great as the Blues Brothers.

Dear Meg-Thanks so much for all of the wonderful links.  I see Buckwheat Zydeco is on the list.  So great to see that.  Well, I love anything cajun, the culture, music and food.  I met a man recently who used to live in New Orleans.  He said the pre-Katrina New Orleans was overly romanticized and that things just never were quite right after Katrina.  I've always just had a fascination for the Big Easy and will watch any movie that is set in New Orleans.
