I can't watch the videos because we don't have access to DSL here and I'm on a dial up connection.  However, I'd like to say something about Leary.  The truly great thinkers are rarely recognized as such during their lifetimes by the establishment.  Had Leary sold out and developed LSD through Big Pharma he would have been hailed as a genius developer of a miraculous psychiatric medicine.

The only relevance of this graphic is that Mandelbrott was another great thinker unrecognized by his own colleagues.  I just like to use the sets when I get the chance.

Both leary and RAW diss liked followers of any kind

Seems both would have realized, though, that you can't have the public's ear without expecting to have followers.

It must have been worth it to them.

Yet Wilson followed Leary in a sense.  Maybe follow would be the wrong word here.  Studied?  Sounds better.  Raw was big on semantic confusion so I could only guess that he would argue that the word follow only has as much meaning as we give it.  (He might then suggest trying Leary's experiments to change your thinking...)  Or he wouldn't....  That's the great thing about Bob, he never accepted anything as true or false...
I saw the fnords!
