The Rain

The rain comes down,

The lightening strikes,

The body screams.

You above me,

Our eyes locked,

One with the storm.

Intensity rises,

Passion at a peak,

Energy shared.

A simple act,

The heavens speak,

the world stops.

Once sundered...

Two made one,

The way of nature.

Explosion occurs,

The rain comes down,

The thunder rolls.

Desire is satisfied, love is sealed

I Remember

I remember,

A gentle kiss

A passing caress

That promised me eternity.

I remember,

A cutting word

A cruel deed

That shattered my fantasy.

I remember,

A slow dance

A second chance

That made me face reality.

I see,

Time passing

Things changing

That bring about maturity

I see,

A pair in sync

A completed link

That makes me a little melancholy.

I see,

A gentle kiss

A passing caress

That no longer belongs to me.

I remember,

A better time

A better feeling

When I turn to go I take it with me.

In the light of love I bask in its glory.

In the dark of love I know there are lessons.

In the weakness of love I hold on to hope.

In the strength of love I know anything is possible.

In the love of self I gain wisdom.

In the love of another I gain the universe.

In love anything is possible as long as it is done together.

I love this.  I recently said you need to listen with your heart, mind, and higher self and your mind is not always the smartest of the three! :)

:)  I often say you need to think with your heart and feel with your head ;)  I agree completely Misty, the brain often fools us by misleading with ego instead of feeling love.

I call them ego monsters or little liars! The sad thing is those little monsters can hurt the heart just as easily as another person can (due to their own little monsters)!
