Full Moon Stage

We are nearing the full moon for this month I personally feel its effects up to 3 days prior to the full moon, I know others do too. This feeling can last one or two days after the cycle is finished but usually it is the buildup from the waxing Gibbous moon up to the full moon that really affects me.

This is the time when the moon is 180 degrees from the sun, is fully reflective of the sun's rays, and gives off the far infrared light necessary for growth. It is a time for being creative, being open to possibilities, for really utilizing your intuitive abilities! In doing our inner work, it is a time for bringing into our awareness the things we have been working on all month to realize!

The full moon causes the waters to rise, babies to be born, souls to depart. It imbues everything with a sense of being full, of being at its peak, hence the increased sensitivities and heart felt emotions. Also the reason for many to rise out of emotional control, their true feelings are out now, without the discipline to realize what is happening to them.

We might ask ourselves what is the most obvious that is manifesting in our lives right now? This is the time when all truths are out and so if we are alert to these manifestations we can affect a change for ourselves, more in line with our true natures. If we are not alert, we are at the mercy of how others affect our lives, those whose lives that are whirling out of control!

We might be open to receiving what life offers us at this time! We can look at this cycle as the 'helper' cycle, it enables us to really look at what are our heart's desires. Intuitive abilities can really lead us to what we are wanting at a deep level, so we can discern what we really need from what we think others want of us.

The full moon brings our emotions to the surface, what was hidden is now exposed to the light.

We can find out where our energy has been blocked, and we can see where we have been expending too much of our energy on fruitless pursuits. The full moon can get us back on track so to speak.. So if we are aware of the full moon coming, we can prepare for this opening of our abilities as intuitive beings. We can affect change for the better each and every month, indeed with each change of the moon's cycle we can be aware of how it affects us every day!

Comment by Eclecta AVA on Wednesday: I am curious if anyone else does a 3 day full moon ritual. I have been doing it for years. At first it was to get and stay in tune with the core of myself. Now, I do it more for respect and in communion.

I would like to know more about techniques others use.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But the manifestations of all those we hold Dear.
The physical forms of those whom we pray to,
Even Saint Nick, and his miniature sleigh, too!

Jehovah, Mohammed, Shiva, Hera and Thor.
Zeus, Freya, Brahma, and many, many more.
All the Spiritual Entities who’d ever been mentioned.
Even some, like dear Loki, who sowed seeds of dissension.

They greeted each other with smile, warm and sweet.
Then, forming a Circle, they all took a seat.
With multiple Voices all joined as One,
The Corners were Called. And, when that was done.

The Chalice was passed from Hand to Hand.
Then, a blanket of silence enfolded the land.
A crystal clear Voice began to hold sway.
Which Deity spoke? I could not say.

But, clearly, I heard all the love in that Voice.
It caused my tired heart to take flight and rejoice.
“Our Children, it seems, have missed the whole point.
“We now join together, their hearts to anoint.

“Pour all of Our love O’er their hearts of stone.
“Let them see that together they’re never alone!
“Show them it matters not which of Us that they choose.
“Their sad hate and mistrust cause each of Us to lose!”

As I stood there transfixed, I could suddenly see
If we all stand as one, what a world this could be!
Put ALL of our differences well behind us.
Let the love of the Gods enfold and remind us.

We ARE all the same, though varied our skins.
We all dream the same dreams, we all sin the same sins.
With a look of enlightenment etched on my face,
I beheld all the Gods in Their glory and grace!

They all bowed Their heads then said “So mote it be!”
They all smiled at each Other bestowing winks on me.
One by One they disappeared from my sight.
Just the Goddess and God were left in the light.

As slowly They twinkled, fading by degree,
“Happy Yuletide to all!!
Blessed be times three!”
