Comment by Feather Strike on Monday Thank you for your kind words, I hope he feels better on his own. I have tried Reki on him and rubing his legs at least four times a day. We will see.
Blessings
Comment by Zephonith. on Monday It sounds like a dislocated joint or pulled muscle to me. Especially if he's still a pup and his bones are still forming !
The x-rays will show a fracture or break which doesn't sound like it is the case . The pressures of leash and the way he fell sideways must have caused the trauma ` I wonder if they could try manipulating the area (a doggy chiropractor?)
He'll be Ok soon. Dogs heal themselves quickly, but it's an idea to check that everything is in the right places before it sets wrongly.
Good luck, sister ! Let us know

Comment by Feather Strike on May 19, 2013 at 6:35am Dakota story, I took him to his second training class and like all pups he was looking at all the other dogs in the store. As we enter the room where the class is held along comes this classmate a 5 month old female Akee and Dakota wanted to play with her so he jumps up and his feet left the floor and he feel on his back on the right side. We all were stun to see and hear this. He was on the leash that was why he fell. This happen the 7 of March and now he is limping on his left side as well as his right side. His rare paws give away and he falls. Meds and xrays and they still don.t know what happened.

Comment by Zephonith. on May 18, 2013 at 11:47pm Hi Feather Strike, what exactly happened to cause such a bad injury? Dogs mend very quickly though and I am sure all will be back to normal soon enough. Sending big doggie hugs :)
