June 6th 2011 was the 50th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest physicians of the 20th century.
Jung is the father of modern psychoanalysis and anyone interested in dreams; collective unconscious/archetypes; synchronicity; personality indicators and so much more that feature in his life and work is welcome to join and participate in this group.
Carl Gustav Jung
(1875 - 1961)
Dig out those Jung quotes and let's see how deep this rabbit hole goes....

Comment by Michael Ferrer on January 6, 2013 at 4:34pm If you appreciate the depth of Jung's work please read some Anthony Peake. His theory of Life and the unconscious or higher being which he refers to as our daemon is compelling and profound in its depth.
Comment by Diana Muñiz on December 30, 2012 at 12:21pm Jung is a very enigmatic man, I have been interested in his ideas for a long time. I am glad I found this group.
Comment by Jack Baldwin on December 1, 2012 at 12:22am Freud, Jung and Hall the King-Maker: The Historic Expedition to America (1909): By Saul Rosenzweig having some trouble getting links to the full article, to many irons in the fire to do the proper research. But that would be a start for anyone interested.
I am unaware Jack of any referencing of Jung's work by Bernays. He drew heavily on his uncle Siegmund Freud's work in psychoanalysis for his own work and also that of the Behaviourist, Pavlov. Might you care to expand on this?
Comment by Jack Baldwin on November 26, 2012 at 3:33pm Has anyone been discussing the connection Jung's, and Freud's work had through Edward Bernays in creating the modern consumerism we now find ourselves a part of?
Glad to see the group has grown and is going strong. Thanks to some gifted and committed administrators. Having set the group up I am happy to just dip in and out on my infrequent visits to TI.
Jung more relevant now than ever.
That Red Book is mesmerising isn't it?
