Hello everyone. I'm an alcoholic in remission. I've been sober for just over a year and a half and I'm trying to quit smoking.

idle hands are not good...finding yourself with nothing to do tends to leave the mind to wander for recreation...which may lead to wanting to get stoned or drunk...stay busy..always keep busy.  most addicts or alcoholics i know have turned their addictive nature to work becoming workaholics...which is better but still not good.  EVERYTHING IN MODERATION

i've successfully reduced my caffeine intake from 8 pots a day to a couple..my kidneys are better and i feel less stressed out.  also, i have cut down on smoking from a pack or better a day to about a half pack a day....little by little does big things : )

hello...great idea for a group...anyway, i'll pop in here later for more detailed look..but as for now, caffeine is my current addiction...honestly, on average i drink about 8 to 10 pots a day...also, i have been clean from narcotics for 6 years..i was a coke addict from the age of 18 to 2005...words will never describe the feeling i have not to have that hell to deal with anymore : )
