Hi there folks... I am new to the site, thanks to a twitter invite, I found the community and have been lurking for a few days. I am not new to the idea's presented here in all forms and fashions, but for a very long time, I have had them suppressed the last 11 years in a marriage to a person that found most of my ideas and beliefs comical. I tried to live the perfect white picket fence marriage, but it didn't work for me in a lot of ways, and I moved myself on from her, and with in days of the divorce it feels like my eyes were opened again to what I was missing all this time.
I am trying to relearn what I knew, and have immersed myself in books, and studies to try and get back what I feel I have lost. It is a great feeling to be open to the world again. I look forward to reading, and getting to know all of your ideas, thoughts and experiences...

Learning the lesson of detaching from people who are negative is very hard to learn, and can be painful!
There is also a lesson there about surrender and release what is unimportant, as some people just seem to desire to hold others back and feed off of the misery they generate!
