Curses???

First cursing is a belief. No one can ever curse you, but yourself. No one can enter into your house, and take your jewelry away, without first breaking your door open. That door is your conscious mind or ego, the sum total of all your accumulated beliefs.
Second, like all beliefs, cursing can become physical and manisfest itself in diseases and even death itself. The effectivity of a curse is proportional to the amount of fear it induced.
If you remove the fear completely, the curse dissolves like a mist.

I totally agree with Marcel. Psychologically...It is most correct. 

In occult circles, there is  a simple drawing one does in the air with ones finger. One also uses this while astral travelling to banish any evil, or to cleanse a temple before a ritual. 

If one believes in any occult workings, one may use this simple drawing while saying.."negative forces OUT, positive Forces IN!! Of course, one must believe in its Power to achieve the result..of banishing any curses, hexes etc..Of course, this is psychologically induced..and the result, if one believes in its power.. is the same as Marcel's..to remove the fear completely...To know if one is cursed/hexed? IT is the fear they are experiencing, as Marcel stated.

Makes perfect sense as my entire life I was told our family was cursed, think I bought it, and I do believe in the occult so I will do what you've both suggested. Most grateful.
