Studies have shown that 98% of children below the age of five have normal levels of creativity and spontaneity, yet by the age of 25, only 2% of these children, now adults, have what is termed superior creative ability.

What, then happens in-between to crush this mysterious creative ability, or power? It must be something that happens to 98% of people over the age of 25, to make the inner child disappear.

They say that creativity is the most important asset in the world of today and future present; the NOW which is characterized by change, that old constant universal dynamic. For spiritual seekers, creativity is of vital importance, as is being spontaneous.

Instinct and creativity should be balanced with logic or rationalism for things to work properly in all aspects or spheres of life. To be an active participant in life, and to create the life we love, we need to be more balanced in our way of living. To achieve this, why not make use of our fullest potential and use every hemisphere at our disposal?

Well, the reason is obvious. The creativity which we are gifted with , is simply socialized right out of us. Parents, years of schooling, the media at large and just about everyone tells us from an early age that we must conform to be 'good'. We must not wander off or stray, we are not to act like a lion or velociraptor or hare , or experiment with things, as this is 'childish'(a BAD thing).

If children are distracted during a boring science or accounting class, especially if they were born to be an artist or muso, and are forced into doing the courses everyone else says they must do against every fibre of their will; they are rushed off and diagnosed with a psychiatric illness - in other words, 'ADHT', or any one of the other invented dis-eases that have become so prevalent in society nowadays.

A child's normal coping abilities and creativity are thus stifled altogether, and we are left with 98% of the population who are not equipped to deal with change and who couldn't make a plan to cope with a spontaneously occurring event even if they wanted to as a result. A literally dumbed-down people, who are deprived of a future belonging to open minds, then?

One has to sit and be-wonder the reasoning behind giving every child who is occasionally distracted or just wants to play and be a little wild every now and again like kids used to normally, drugs like Ritalin.

Ritalin is the drug teachers and parents who cop-out of their responsibilities supply to children, to make them 'more obedient and docile', like sheeple ought to be. Because it's far easier to drug a generation or two of little children to keep them quiet and totally kill their creativity, than to give them individual attention and quality education and guidance, it seems. The fact that the long-term side effects of Ritalin, the creativity-killer, are totally unknown and untested, matters not. Who gives a damn if we kill the creative arts, as long as there is another crop of Rita-robot people who won't ask questions or ensure any form of democracy and free-thinking?(Just saying)

Reality again

The human brain, like the great pyramid at Giza, has eight sides or quadrants to it, not just four!

We have the Yin, the creative, feminine side of our brain and we have the currently dominant Yang as we probably already are aware. Yet things are a tad more complex than this.

Like lovers in an intimate and passionate embrace, the Yin and Yang continually blend together in infinite proportions and ways, to create ongoing life and rejuvenation within and without. The Yin and Yang enjoy a complex and ever-changing relationship.

Lets say that it is like the seasons ~ the Wheel of Life with all eight sides, points or quadrants to the whole. And it turns without delay, as old man Time waits for no-one. Dark Yin, Light Yang. There's no time here for grey!

And some people say, Wicca is a 'new' way of living. That Ophites do not know what they are talking about, when we say that Isis is the Mistress of the Pyramids; that all Obelisks and pyramidions are of ancestral serpent-science.

Yet the most advanced scientific breakthroughs are to be found in our Pagan mysteries, where they have always resided. Odd, isn't it just? That the principles of Balance and harmonious interaction between God and Goddess within and without, As Above and So Below have been suppressed and are only now again seeing the light of reason?

Know Thyself, through not-knowing, I would have said, but there again, no-ones listening to a mad old Serpent Woman anyway, creating things out of thin aether.
