Hi, I read somewhere that when your drawn to a particular deity it means that they've chosen you to worship them or something like that. I was just wondering if this was true or if there is another explanation also if you guys have had any experiences with this. Please feel free to share :).
I personally feel more drawn to Morrigan myself.
Permalink Reply by Michael S. Santos on August 26, 2012 at 10:13am i do not believe that a deity will draw someone to them for the task of worshipping...
i do however believe that if a person feels drawn to a particular deity then there is an attribute which is personal to the deity that relates with you or that there is a purpose for that person that can be found with the deity...
i myself am drawn to morrigan as well...

Permalink Reply by Elijah on August 27, 2012 at 7:53am I also agree with your view Michael. For deities of higher vibrations need no worship from an incarnated soul. What you'll find from them is the willingness to assist in expansion of knowledge & inner wisdom. However, a lower vibrational entity might be more sollicit when encounting an ignorant receiving soul. Like attracts like. Love & a centered-heart, can transcend all limitations.
Namaste!

A lot of this is semantics, and expressions, and our ability to have guidance that is not too ego centered. Humans becoming empowered with high energy often leaves a person needing to see something external as higher than self, and worship of a deity fills this need. But respect and honor for life, and not needing to feel pain in others, or anger seems to be the reason we as humans are prone to the worship scenario, that is so we retain our humanity / care more for others than self. Because many seem to have an agenda of projecting evil (feeling it or something is bad or horrible) on what they dislike, and adoring what they love, or are familiar with (when they just want more of that in their life)

Permalink Reply by Katie Anderson on October 19, 2012 at 12:04am I agree. I do think that we encounter various spirits and divinities when we're approaching times of change in our lives or are in need of some bringing out some of those concepts within ourselves.
Permalink Reply by Baldassare Cossa on October 24, 2012 at 12:40pm I have always felt deeply drawn to the Atum and secondarily - with very great intensity, to the god Pan-Dionysos, whom since childhood I perceived as a 'naughty madman' or a goat [who of course, I was told, most certainly was The Devil].
